TENNIS TEAMS LOSE AT HOME TO ETSU
The Bruins Host USC Upstate Saturday

     

Brentwood, Tenn. – The Belmont tennis teams opened up their conference play at home Friday night with two losses to ETSU. The women fell 5-0, while the men lost 4-0.

On the women’s side, the Lady Bucs captured the first point of the match as they swept all three doubles matches. In singles, they continued their strong play by winning the first four singles matches to clinch the victory over the Bruins. The final two singles matches started play, but did not finish.

In the men’s match, only singles matches were played due to the bad weather occurring in the Nashville area. The Bucs picked up wins in the first four singles matches and at that point the match was called.

The Bruins are back in action on Saturday as both tennis teams host USC Upstate. The match will begin at 4:30pm and will be played indoors at Brentwood’s Wildwood Club.
