Dear Women's Basketball Alumnae and Friends, From Striplin to the Curb Event Center, Belmont College to Belmont University, Rebels/Rebelettes to Bruins, and NAIA to the NCAA, women's basketball at Belmont has grown and changed in the past 40 years! We want to celebrate each of you for being a valuable part of this significant journey!
Mark your calendars and "Save-the-Date", January 24, 2009, to celebrate the 40 Years of Women's Basketball at Belmont. As a former member and/or supporter of the women's basketball team, the growth and success of the program would not have been possible without you, and we can't celebrate without you either!
Please "Save-the-Date" to join us for a time of reflection, reconnecting, and celebration! On Saturday, January 24, the women's basketball team will host conference rival Kennesaw State at 5:00 PM in the Curb Event Center. In the upcoming months you will receive more information about festivities surrounding this game and how we plan to honor you as a women's basketball alum. Kelly Fish in the Office of Alumni Relations will be assisting with the planning of this reunion and may be contacting you. In the meantime, stay updated at http://alumni.belmont.edu.
We look forward to seeing many former Belmont women's basketball players present on this day. Belmont has been such a special and successful place over the years.
