Ryan Snellen will serve as a volunteer assistant coach Ryan recently graduated from Belmont University in 2007 with a Bachelor's degree in Entrepreneurship. Snellen, a native of Hodgenville, Ky., brings to the table a long list of outstanding performances and PR's as a Bruin. Ryan has a personal best of 14:03 for the 5000m and 3:51 for 1500m. A well rounded athlete with tremendous range, Snellen earned all-conference honors four times in cross-country, qualified individually for the NCAA Division 1 Cross Country National Championships in 2004, was conference champion in 2004 and finished 2nd at the 2006 conference championships. More recently, Ryan clocked 69 minutes at the Country Music Half-Marathon in his debut at the distance. S nellen currently works as a footwear specialist at the running specialty store, Fleet Feet Sports in Brentwood in addition to his duties as a volunteer assistant coach for the Bruins. |
