Ryan Snellen Cracks 14-Minute Barrier in Oregon

PORTLAND, Ore. -- After a close call at Stanford last month, former Belmont cross country runner Ryan Snellen cracked the 14-minute barrier in the 5000m at the Portland Track Festival in Portland, Ore. He rounded twelve and a half laps of the Lewis and Clark College track in 13:57.68 to place fourth in a race won by Ed Moran in 13:43.50. Read Full Release

Three Men's Cross Country/Track and Field Runners Tabbed ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Three Belmont men's cross country and track and field athletes were named to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District Second Team. Senior Caleb Swartz (Radcliff, Ky.), junior Kip Hill (Liberty, Mo.), and sophomore Will Peters (Carmel, Ind.) each received the first nod of their respective careers.
