2009-10 Bruin Sports Network Basketball Schedule Get Acrobat Reader

NASHVILLE, TENN. - - The Bruin Sports Network released its basketball broadcast schedule for the upcoming season Wednesday.

Once again, all 30 regular season men's basketball games will be broadcast live on the Bruin Sports Network via the program's official athletic website, belmontbruins.com. Popular Nashville broadcaster and sports personality Kevin Ingram returns for his eighth season as the Voice of the Bruins. The award-winning Ingram serves as co-host of the highly-rated morning drive time Wake Up Zone on 104.5 The Zone.

Speaking of Nashville's top sports station, 104.5 The Zone and Belmont Basketball have extended their partnership for a seventh consecutive season. 104.5 The Zone will carry live broadcasts of five regular season Bruin games, with provisions made for postseason play. Moreover, longtime Belmont head coach Rick Byrd will again be a regular guest contributor on 104.5 The Zone programming.

In regards to television, Belmont Basketball is slated to take part in three televised regular season games. The Bruins will play 2008 National Champion and preseason No. 1 Kansas Dec. 29 on ESPNU - Belmont's first nationally-televised game since its memorable 2008 NCAA Tournament contest against Duke. Belmont will also host Lipscomb Jan. 26 and Jacksonville Feb 5. on Comcast/Charter Sports Southeast (CSS) as part of the Atlantic Sun Conference's Game of the Week package.

Lastly, for a third straight year, Belmont Basketball games will be available through live and on-demand video streaming at the Atlantic Sun Conference's broadband channel, ASun.TV. 23 of the Bruins' 30 regular season contests will be carried on ASun.TV - including all conference games. The service is subscription-based; with per-game, per-month, and per-season rates.

Belmont opens its 2009-10 campaign against Portland State Nov. 13 as part of the Athletes in Action Classic hosted by the University of Washington.
