CHICAGO, ILL. - - Belmont University men's basketball will be the subject of a feature story for a series of ABC Sports college basketball programs entitled Race to March Madness.

The Race to March Madness series is comprised of three one-hour specials centered on some of the most compelling storylines in college basketball.

The Belmont Basketball feature - which will air Saturday, Mar. 7 at 1:30 pm CT on ABC - will include contributions from seniors Henry Harris, Matthew Dotson and Andy Wicke, Belmont head coach Rick Byrd, as well as 19-time Grammy Award winning artist and longtime program supporter, Vince Gill.

In spotlighting the Bruins' accomplishments in recent years, the show will revisit Belmont's 2008 NCAA Tournament performance against three-time National Champion Duke.

Other Race to March Madness features include profiles of All-America candidates Blake Griffin of Oklahoma and Jeff Teague of Wake Forest.

Race to March Madness is a production of Chicago-based Intersport, the Emmy Award-winning creator, producer and distributor of original programming.
