NASHVILLE, TENN. - - Belmont University Athletics announced Thursday the debut episode of its athletic department magazine program, Inside Belmont Athletics.

Inside Belmont Athletics will be Bruin fans' premier source for game highlights, student-athlete feature stories and news and notes.

An extension of the comprehensive coverage provided on belmontbruins.com, Inside Belmont Athletics will air free of charge on the Atlantic Sun Conference's online video streaming service provider, ASun.TV.

Inside Belmont Athletics accompanies live and on-demand game viewing options currently provided on the broadband channel.

As with live game production, Belmont University media studies department students take a lead role building Inside Belmont Athletics from the ground up - directing, producing, reporting, and editing.

"We are thrilled to debut Inside Belmont Athletics and look forward to its potential in the weeks and months to come," Belmont University Director of Athletics Mike Strickland said. "We hope Inside Belmont Athletics becomes another avenue by which to tell the Belmont story, while taking advantage of new media via ASun.TV."

Episode one includes early season basketball highlights, a recap of the fall campaign, a sit-down interview with Atlantic Sun Women's Soccer Championship Tournament MVP Sari Lin, and a feature on the new three-point line in men's college basketball this season.

Check back for future installments.
